Why we need your support
Your support is needed to fund the establishment of computer centres for the delivery of high quality education programs that will pave the way for a brighter future for children in rural communities in Nepal.Your donations will also support training opportunities for local teachers, employ local support staff, and provide scholarships to those students who show outstanding abilities and interest.
These centres will provide the facilities for vocational training and access to information for life-long learning for all members of the community and allow them to access important information relating to health, wellbeing and economic prosperity.
Your generous donation will improve the lives of children and the social and economic conditions in rural communities in Nepal.
Help support the programs in Nepal
Logged On is seeking donations to
our general fund where we will distribute it to areas that are in greatest need, or you may want to invest in one or more areas of our program.
Other ways to give
Logged On is seeking cash donations to purchase new computer equipment. There are a number of logistical issues handling, servicing and transporting second hand computers. Please contact us if you have an idea for getting good quality second hand computers and peripheral equipment to Nepal, particularly laptop computers.
Gifts-in-kind
In-kind donations of software and school essentials such as stationary, books and school furniture are welcome but please contact us first.
Logged On does not use donations for travel, accommodation or incidental travel costs for program managers or volunteers. This is entirely their own cost and is a tribute to their dedication. We are firm in our commitment to maximise investment in the Nepal project. But reduced cost travel through the donation of frequent flyer miles would be of great help for expanding and strengthening the program of assistance in Nepal.
If you have other types of in-kind donations that you believe would be of help this cause, please contact us.
Foster your own activities
You might choose to encourage group of friends or colleagues to fundraise for our cause. Why not organise your own event? There are many exciting and creative ways to fundraise and these activities provide a great opportunity to engage and motivate your colleagues and friends commitment to helping people in need.
You could advocate on our behalf and develop your own fundraising program. You could promote your program via one of the social networking sites, such as Facebook or Twitter, or whatever works best for you. We could set up a website for you so you can promote your fundraising activities among your friends.
